Centacare is the official welfare organisation of the Catholic Diocese of Ballarat. It has the responsibility for providing a wide range of services to individuals, couples and families.

While particular programs are designed for specific groups, Centacare's services are available to all regardless of race, religion or economic status.
Most services are free, but fees do apply to some programs. However concessions are always available should the cost be a barrier to being involved.
Centacare has offices in Ballarat, Mildura, Hamilton, Horsham, Warrnambool, and Bacchus Marsh. In addition, particular services operate out of a wide range of country locations.

CentaBRACE

                                        Employment

CentaBRACE Employment is an innovative, collaboration of two experienced and well established, not for profit, community based organisations, Centacare Catholic Diocese of Ballarat Inc. and BRACE Education, Training and Employment. Both agencies have a strong commitment to providing responsive, high quality employment services to jobseekers, business and communities in Western Victoria.

In recognition of the highly successful provision of a broad range of employment, personal and family support, youth, mental health and training services, across the agencies, CentaBRACE has been awarded a significant Job Services Australia 2009-2012 Contract to deliver employment services in the Eureka, Sunraysia and Geelong Employment Services Areas.
