Centacare is the official welfare organisation of the Catholic Diocese of Ballarat. It has the responsibility for providing a wide range of services to individuals, couples and families.

While particular programs are designed for specific groups, Centacare's services are available to all regardless of race, religion or economic status.
Most services are free, but fees do apply to some programs. However concessions are always available should the cost be a barrier to being involved.
Centacare has offices in Ballarat, Mildura, Hamilton, Horsham, Warrnambool, and Bacchus Marsh. In addition, particular services operate out of a wide range of country locations.
