Peplow House

 

Provides short term emergency accommodation and outreach support to men over 18 yrs and older who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. Clients work with a case manager to secure permanent or alternative accommodation. Peplow House can provide accommodation for eight men at anyone time. A waiting list applies.

Program Description

Accommodation is provided in single rooms with shared facilities. Food is provided with clients preparing their own breakfast and lunch, and taking responsibility one night per week for preparation on an evening meal for all clients. While at Peplow House men are supported in their attempts to find long term, permanent accommodation and linked to urgent and essential services that may be required. Men unable to be accommodated at Peplow House are placed on a waiting list. Once on the waiting list men must contact each day to check for vacancies.

An Outreach Support Service is also provided. This service is available to those men leaving Peplow House and to men living in the community at risk of being homeless.

This service provided under SAAP funding.

Target Group

Homeless, single males aged 18 and over.

Availability

Support Workers are available Monday to Friday between 9.00 and 5.00pm.

Out of hours service also available.
