Youth Transitions Support Initiative (YTSI)

A program that assists young people to return to or commence Education, Training and or Employment.

Program Information:

The Youth Transition Support Initiative's intent is to:

  • Provide an holistic approach to young people who have not passed year 12 or equivalent,
  • Are not employed or
  • Not attending education or training
  • who would like sustainable options for the future.

The program allows for each participant to choose the avenue that they would like to succeed in, be it a return to education, employment or training. In conjunction with their support worker they will develop an action plan to achieve the desired goal(s). As well as receiving ongoing assistance in achieving these.

The action plan can help young people address barriers that may be effecting their ability to return to school and/or sustain an employment or training option.
