A service that provides long term assistance to people aged 50 and over who are at risk of losing their Public Housing, or are on the Public Housing Waiting List and need extra support to maintain independent living.

Program Description

A Case Management service that provides long term assistance to people aged 50 and over who are at risk of losing their Public Housing, or are on the Public Housing Waiting List and need extra support to maintain independent living.

Referrals normally come from the Office of Housing for those at risk of losing their housing. We will work with the client in assessing why they are at risk and will link the client into services that are required. Main aim is to assist with maintain their current housing. If this cannot be done we will assist in finding alternative accommodation.

For those already on the waiting lists, needing more support, referrals generally come from Community Connections or Office of Housing.

 Target Group

People aged 50 and over who are at risk of losing their public housing, or who are on the public housing waiting list and require extra support to maintain independent living.
