Peplow House Resident Artist Thanks Team

A couple of weeks ago Peplow House staff had the privilege of working with a lovely man, Bob.  After being transient for some time, Bob arrived at Peplow House Crisis Accommodation seeking assistance with accommodation and supports to resettle in Victoria.

Centacare Case Workers were quickly able to assist Bob in exiting from Peplow House into private accommodation, however Bob experienced a crisis with his mental health, and returned to Peplow House for ongoing accommodation support.

Staff worked with Bob over eight weeks, and discovered that he has natural artistic talent.  Bob’s talent is capturing people and moments with funny little cartoons.  An amazing artist, Bob’s drawings always had a happy spin.

Bob decided to move interstate to resettle himself into a familiar community.  Peplow House staff provided support, guidance and resources to assist him with this move.

Bob gifted the staff at Peplow house with a wonderful drawing of the team, thanking them for their support during his tenancy and his move to his new home.

Staff love their drawing which is proudly on display in the office; staff often look at the drawing with a smile thinking of Bob and his amazing talent.
