Job Description

The Victims Support Worker will provide high quality case management services to victims of violent crime.  You will be providing support to high and medium need clients, with either long term needs or clients who require more intensive assistance in response complex needs.

You will help coordinate a range of service provisions such as counselling, psychological first aid, advocacy services, specialist services and practical supports depending on client needs.  This will be achieved through a flexible, supportive and collaborative client centred case management approaches.

Please note: This may mean that after hours and weekend work will be required from time-to-time to meet operational requirements.

If you have relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work or Welfare, sound knowledge of the VAP and the service sector, demonstrated experience of case management principles and practice including strong data entry and record keeping skills, you are encouraged to apply for this great opportunity.
